A Hoppy Birthday Card
Hello Heffy Doodlers!
I’m so excited to be back on the Heffy Doodle blog to bring you another fun project! For those of you who don’t know me – hello! I’m Steph, a paper crafter and card maker from Australia!
If you keep up with the Heffy Doodle news, you may have seen that I’m now a part of their fabulous video team, and that’s what I’ve got for you today! My first video tutorial! But first, let’s check out some of the elements that brought this card together.
These sweet froggies from the Be Hoppy Stamp set were at the top of my wishlist for Heffy Doodle’s latest release. How sweet are those spindly little legs?
Colouring these sweet creatures was so much fun! I also chose a few other little images from the set to help set up our little celebration.
Next up, we have this gorgeous background! I absolutely love the new Carnival Stars Backdrop Die. It looks stunning on its own in any colour, but I couldn’t help but add some rainbow to this card. I used some distress and distress oxide inks to colour a piece of white card to place behind my backdrop, and the same its for some colourful splatters over the top to tie everything nicely together.
Have you ever made a little shaker? Shakers add so much fun to cards and are so much fun to make! This was one was nice and simple, using just two dies from the Mini Essentials Die set and some foam tape! And (of course) the prettiest Pride Sparkle Mix!
Here is the final piece! Such a fun and vibrant card that would make anyone smile on their birthday!
