A-DOG-rable Dogs Card & Tags with Guest Designer Leeds

Hello everyone!! It’s Leeds here (@leeds_craftroom) and I’m so excited to be guest designer on the Heffy Doodle blog today. Thank you Lesley and Amanda for having me, I’m grateful for the opportunity.

For my post today, I used the Who Let The Dogs Out stamp set because I’m a dog lover and these dogs are so adorable! First, I stamped these cute images using Memento Black Ink Pad and then colored them using Copic Markers. I then placed the Wonderfully Woven Stencil on a piece of white card stock, and applied the Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade.

I ran it through my die cut machine with a foursquare backdrop die from Lawn Fawn and then I cut the bar in the middle to make two larger scenes. For the scene, I placed the Head in The Clouds Stencil on a white card stock and applied Sugar Spun and Milled Lavender. Finally, I assembled the card using double sided tape and foam tape. For the sentiments, I heat-embossed white embossing powder on a red card stock.

After finishing my card, I decided to make two tags. For the first tag, I die cut from a white card stock and then ink blended Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I glued all the images and heat-embossed red embossing powder for the sentiments. I die cut a patterned paper, added green twine and the first tag was done!

For the second tag, I decided to make a shaker tag. I die cut a white card stock and applied Distress Oxide Milled lavender onto it. Next, I run the card stock and and a foam sheet through my die cut machine with the Ovally Excited dies. I adhered a piece of acetate onto the front panel, filled it with shaker element and assembled all panels together. I glued the image and heat-embossed red embossing powder for the sentiments. I added red twine and the second tag was done! I hope you like the card and tags I’ve shared with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
