Elfish Antics christmas bauble card
Hello everyone,
I´m Maria from My Craftway to Happiness and I´m one of the lucky ladies that made it into Lesley´s amazing Design Team. I´m beyond honored that I´m in it with all the super talented ladies.
Today I´m sharing one of my very first Heffy Doodle Christmas cards. Lesley did such an amazing job with the adorable Elfish Antics stamps. Who couldn´t resist these cute elfes and all the great accesoires they come with.
I started this card with a square top fold card out of whisper white cardstock and layered a quarter shorter whisper white scare piece on top of it. I adhered it with a non permanent adhesive on the base and then ran it through my diecutting machine with a inside-out stitched circle die.
After diecuting you end up with a circle with an outside stitched edge. I love this look on cards.
In between the two layers I put a gold foil snowflake from Stampin´ Up! and adhered it to the edges.
To finish off the christmas ornament look I diecut a small hanger from golden foil and added a little bow and stripe of golden 1/8 inch ribbon. I adhered them with gluedots.
For the focal point of the card I stamped the elfish girl and present from the Elfish Antics stampset in Memento Tuxedo Black on Shimmery White cardstock. I used my alcohol markers for the very first time and colored the elfish girl with cherry cobbler, daffodil delight and old olive. I also used some skin colors and added extra glimmery shine using the Sakura Stardust gelly roll marker. I also added some white details using the white gel pen from Sakura. Afterwards I diecut the elf and present using the coordinating dies.
On the bottom of the card I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Elfish Antics stampset in Memento Tuxedo Black. I love the fond of the Heffy Doodle sentiments very much. To give the card a finish shiny touch I added some punched golden stars and adhered them arround the christmas ornament.
Voila!! My first published Heffy Doodle christmas card!!! What do you think? Have you all your christmas cards ready ??
Have a wonderful and creative day everybody!!!!
Maria 🙂
