You Did It!

Hey there, Heffy Doodlers!

Recently, the design team members were talking about alcohol inks and so it inspired me to do this clean and simple card using alcohol inks! So because this is a clean and simple card, this post will be REALLY short, cause this card took no time at all to pull together!

I started by using some green and teal shades of alcohol inks on yupo paper and once I was happy with the layers and the variation in the colors, I set it aside to dry. While that alcohol panel was drying, I stamped the lion and balloon images from the Ad-roar-able Lions stamp set (HFD|SSS) on to white cardstock. After coloring the images with my copic markers, I cut down that piece into a smaller panel with a My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I also added some Glossy Accents to the balloon for added shine and dimension.

Once the alcohol ink panel had dried, I also trimmed it down using a larger die from the same die set. I then glued the lion image panel on to the alcohol ink panel and finished off the card by gluing those two pieces on to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch scored card base.
