You are the Sweetest

Hello crafty friends! I’t Silvia from Piccole Polpette Crescono  (but you may know me as Sivg76 on Instagram) and I’m sooooo excited being a Heffy Doodle blog guest designer today: thank you very much Lesley and Laura for this amazing adventure!!!

I love playing with layers and creating cute and happy scenes in my cards and Heffy Doodle stamps and dies are perfect for this and for today’s card I decided to play with a lot of them.

I started  die cutting a white panel with the “Stitched Heart Background” die and I  ink blended it with tumbled glass Distress Oxide ink. I then used salty ocean Distress Oxide ink and the amazing “Cloudy Skies” stencil to add texture to my background.

I also splattered it with water, I added some drops of white ink and some of salty ocean Distress Oxide  ink and I splattered again with pure platinum Nuvo mousse (loosened with a drop of water).

I die cut two white cardstock rectangles with the biggest die from the “Imperial Stitched Rectangles”   set and I used them to create some borders, two cloudy ones with the “Silver Linings Cloud Border” dies and two grassy ones with the “Grassy Lass Border” dies. I left the cloudy borders white and I ink blended the grassy borders with twisted citron and mowed lawn Distress Oxide inks and I splattered them with water and some Indian gold Nuvo mousse.

I stamped my images from the “Quill you be mine” and “Sweet Stuff” stamp sets with Memento black ink, I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and I fussy cut them out (if you want there are also the coordinating dies).

I stamped the sentiment from the “Sweet Stuff” stamp set and I built up my scene using liquid glue and foam squares and this is how the card turned out.

I enjoyed myself a lot making this card and I truly hope you’ll like it too. Thank you so much for spending your time with me today and happy crafting!!!

Big hugs, Silvia.
