Whatcha sayin´ little Honey Bunny Boo?
Hello everyone,
Maria here with my first blogpost of the amayzing Release 3 from Heffy Doodle!! Aren´t all the new Stamps and dies amazing???
On Saturday all of our incredible talented Team will share with you more awesome projects using the new Realease stamps and dies.
As you can never have too many birthdaycard I made a rainbow birthday bunny card that I want to share with you today using several new Heffy Doodle products.
On my whisper white cardbase I layered a diecut panel that I sponged with my blending tools in rainbow colors ( I can´t get enough of rainbows) . After the ink was dry I splodged some glimmer mist drops on the rainbow surface, which created the little glimmery dots.
For the big diecut sentiment I picked the new stand alone die Congrats Heffy cuts and diecut it from golden foil cardstock . I love the new word dies that Lesley created . She is so amazingly talented. Did you know that she handlettered all the words for the dies? Cool, huh?
For the main image I stamped a bunny from the new Honey Bunny Boo stampset and colored him using alcohol markers. I gave him some white highlights using a white gel pen and diecut him using the coordinating dies. As every Birthday deserves a cake I stamped and diecut him a cake from the older set Elephant of surprise. I colored it with an orange carrot iceing over a yummy chocolate cake. Sounds like a great combination don´t you think?
The speech bubble sentiment I used is from the new Whatcha Sayin´Stamp set and I also used the coordinating Whatcha Sayin Dies. I picked the stitched border speech bubbles and diecut them a few times to stack them over each other. Before adhering the last panel I stamped the sentiment ´Happy Birthday to you`from the Whatcha Sayin´Stampset. That way you get a lot of dimention without using foamdots.
After having all the main images done, I tool a stitched circle and colored the background using my spongedaubers and some green and lightblue ink to create the grass and the sky. Then I layered a gold scallop circle underneath and adhered all the elements. For the cake and bunny I used foam dots to give them more dimention.
When all my card elements were adhered together to form the card I had to add a little more bling in form of 3 golden sequins. You can never have enough bling, right?
So there you have it, my first Blogpost with the amazing new Heffy Doodle Release . What is your favorite set and die from Release 3? Let me know in the comments below !!!
Have a wonderful and creative week everybody!!!
