Warmest Wishes
It’s time to start thinking about Christmas cards, and today I’m showing you a cute scene card using the Santa’s Village stamp set!
Hi, everyone! It’s Cassie here, and I’m back today to share a cute holiday card that I made using loves of my favorite Heffy Doodle products. I can’t get over how sweet the Santa’s Village stamp set is. I knew I wanted to make a cute little scene for this card, so I stamped out a few of the images from the set and colored them with my Copic markers. They were die cut with the coordinating dies and set aside while I created the rest of the scene.
Next I started working on the background. I die cut the Stargazer Backdrop Die from some light blue paper, adding lots of white dots with my white gel pen for snow. To create the snow banks I traced the First Snow Stencil with a pencil and cut them out with my scissors. Each of those snow banks was also die cut with the Imperial Stitched Rectangle dies so that the stitching matched on the edges. All of those layers were put together with a tape runner. On the actual card base I smooshed my VersaMark ink pad onto it and heat embossed silver embossing powder so that the stars would glitter.
Once all of those pieces were attached I added the little images that I had colored in. For my sentiment I heat embossed a sentiment from the Santa’s Village set with white embossing powder and ink blended some Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink over it. I trimmed that down and adhered it over the Wishes die that I adhered to the card. To create the wishes die I die cut four of the word and glued them all together. I used my Copics, in the same color combo that I used on the trees, and created an ombre look on it.
That was it for my card today! I hope you enjoyed it. Who else is in the holiday spirit?! I just love making Christmas cards and watching some Christmas movies 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great rest of your day.
