Warm and Cozy – Heffy Doodlers February 2022 Challenge

Hey crafty friends, it’s Amanda Stevens again, here to announce the winner of the January challenge and issue a new one for February! Thank you to everyone who entered the Tiny Stamps Challenge last month; there were some really neat cards, and so many great ideas for using small stamps! You can see all of the entries over in the Heffy Doodlers group on Facebook. You can also share your projects and meet new crafty friends. I try to share Lesley’s weekly CCWM videos there too, as soon as she goes live.

I’m know you must be excited to see who won, so please help me congratulate Louise Mcculloch for her winning entry in January! Her sweet slimline features small leaves and a sentiment from the Nuts About You Stamp Set ! Isn’t it awesome? I love it!

To choose the winner, all entries (except those by Lesley and the current design team) were assigned a number, in order of posting. We used random.org to choose the winning number.

Are you ready for a new challenge? This month, let’s get Warm & Cozy! As the temperatures drop outside, it’s the perfect time to burrow into your craft room and play. Then, show us what you made and enter to win a £35 gift voucher! Just make sure your card features Heffy Doodle products (mostly). The challenge starts now in the Heffy Doodlers Facebook Group, and runs through February 27, 2022.

I paired images in the Beary Big Heart Stamp Set with a shadowed die cut sentiment for a sweet valentine. To give it that warm and cozy feeling, I added Woodgrain Texture to the background, and rounded all of the corners. I love the way this turned out. The warm, neutral colors let the bright heart pop, without being too girly. I intend to give this card to my son.

Now it’s your turn! Pull out your Heffy Doodle stamps and create a card or tag of your own. To enter, go to the Heffy Doodlers Facebook Group and post a picture of your project in the February 2022 Challenge album (it will be pinned to the top). Enter as many cards as you like. The winner will be randomly chosen from all entries posted prior to Midnight (UT) on February 27, 2022. You are not limited to cards or tags, feel free to post scrapbook pages, home decor projects, etc. Just be sure the bulk of the stamps and dies used are from Heffy Doodle, and incorporate the Warm & Cozy theme.
