Vintage Elf Christmas Cheer
Good morning! Heather here to share a card I made a few days ago using the darling Elfish Antics Stamp set paired up with a perfect sentiment from Elfing Christmas Words. I went with a totally different color scheme for my card today – instead of the normal colors you would think of for an elf, I used totally vintage, old-fashioned colors!
My color inspiration came from this photo that I had come across recently on Pinterest – I loved the different colors and had to give them a try on my card for today:
I fussy cut the two images out so that there is no white outline as when using the dies. The sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of dark brown cardstock, then trimmed down to fit my card front. The middle of the sentiment was a perfect find in the pattern paper pad I used for my card – I couldn’t resist adding it! A little bit of foam adhesive here and there add the perfect amount of dimension.
I also added a touch of white gel pen accents, as well as a few wood veneer stars to finish it off.
