Video: Royal Mist Inspired Happy New Year Shaker Card
Hello Friends! Happy Sunday! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share with you today on the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel. This month, I am sharing a process video of a die cut only (no stamping) shaker card inspired by the Royal Mist Sparkle Mix. I thought the purple and gold sequins would make a perfect card to start the new year!
After die cutting my patterned paper and gold frame, I stenciled a background with purple balloons and sparkly stars. I trimmed the background and layered the shaker panel together – there is a lot of sparkle! The balloons were adhered on top of the shaker and I also die cut my own sentiment.
If shaker cards are not your favorite, you can skip the shaker panel and adhere your die cut balloons and sentiment directly to the stenciled background. I would add in some of the sequins as embellishments! You can see how this card comes together in today’s video down below.
