VIDEO: Magical Ice Skating Fairy Card

Hello Heffy Doodlers!! It’s Julia here and today I am back with a new video! I am super excited about the holiday season, so this time, I made a fun little magical scene with Christmas trees and ice skating fairies!!

I started by stamping the images from Absotoothly Awesome, Wanna Build a Snowman, and Santa’s Village on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I drew in some little ice skates to the feet of the cute fairies to make them look like they are skating on the glittery lake!

Then, I die cut a hill using the Stitched Slopey Joe Border dies. I ink blended a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide inks and added iridescent glitter paste over the bottom to create the look of a magical lake! I also used a mountain border from my stash to fill up the background of my scene. Feel free to check out the video for all the info on the colors I used and more!

I adhered the mountains and hill to an A2-sized card base and then it was already time to add my trees and adorable fairies! For the sentiment, I used the Elfing Christmas Words stamp set and I heat embossed “sending holiday smiles” in white onto black cardstock. Finally, I added lots of stickles to my images for even more sparkly. It’s so hard to capture all the gorgeous sparkle in a photo, so be sure to check out the video below to really see the allll the sparkle in action!!
