Video: Creating A Wine, Cheese and Pasta Card featuring Pasta La Vista
Hi, Heffy Doodle friends! It’s Laura here from Making Cards Is Fun and today I’m here with a wine, cheese and pasta card combining Pasta La Vista and Happy Snappy Crocs. Make sure to watch the video below for step by step instructions.
First, I stamped and colored images from Pasta La Vista and Happy Snappy Crocs. I love to get more out of my older stamp sets by combining them with newer sets. In this case, I thought the cheese and wine bottle and glass matched perfectly with the pasta friends from Pasta La Vista. A match made in heaven.
Next, I die cut a rectangle from the Imperial Stitched Rectangles die cut set and created a cute pattern with the Quilted Heart Background die. I used Antique Linen and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink pads to create a gradient.
I heat embossed a sentiment from the Pasta La Vista stamp set on white card stock that I colored with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. Afterwards, I also heat embossed a sentiment from the Classic Sentiments stamp set. To finish off the card, I used a Crafter’s Companion Sparkle Pen and a coat of Glossy Accents.
That’s it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by! I’ll see you soon. Xo
