Unicorns Birthday Shaker Card
Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Today I’m sharing a fun birthday shaker card featuring one of my most favorite stamp: the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns!
First, I started by stamping the images from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns and Quill You Be Mine stamp sets. I colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out (coordinating dies available here).
I took two pieces of white card stock and ran it through my die cut machine using the scalloped rectangle frame from the Slimline Pull Tab Die. I then cut one of those card stock using the Slimline Quartet Dies. Next, I placed clouds stencil and applied Distress Oxide Wilted Violet, Dried Marigold, Salvaged Patina and Picked Raspberry. I then splattered it with white acrylic paint and gold watercolor paint.
I cut a piece of foam sheet using the the scalloped rectangle frame from the Slimline Pull Tab Die and the Slimline Quartet Dies. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the front panel, filled it with shaker element and then assembled all the panels together.
For the sentiment, I die-cut a piece of red stock using the Party Heffy Cuts and applied Nuvo Glimmer Moonstone to add some sparkle. I also heat-embossed the sentiment from the Party Palooza stamp set on a red card stock using white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered all the images and sentiments using double sided tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by Heffy Doodle blog! I hope you enjoyed the card I’ve shared with you today! Have a wonderful day! XOXO, Lidya
