Three Cards Using Absotoothly Awesome Card Kit
Hello Heffy Doodlers! It’s Isha with you and today, I am sharing three cards using the Absotoothly Awesome Card Kit from the new release! I love how Lesley has put so many awesome, cute things together in the kit. And actually you don’t NEED to buy any other supply other than ink and adhesive. Isn’t that fun 🙂
For the first card I decided to play with the stencil, ink and the embossing powder.
I started by sponging the ink using the dauber (also in the kit: how well think of ) through the stencil. Remove the stencil and add embossing powder to this panel and heat emboss. This ink is not embossing ink but stays a bit wet to get a fun look.
I then stamped and colored the image, die-cut it. I then applied a bit embossing ink using versamark embossing pen onto the fairy wings, crown, star and embossed using the embossing powder. I stamped the sentiments to the pattern paper stripe. I stamped the word “Fairy”, die-cut it and then embossed it using the holographic embossing powder.
Here is a close-up to see the GORGEOUS shine of the powder.
Assemble everything together.
For my 2nd card I used the beautiful nuvo shimmer powder from the kit.
I did smooshing technique using the stencil. So you add the shimmer powder to the stencil, sprinkle with water and then put this onto the cardstock. Love the result.
I then stamped and colored the image, die-cut it. I then applied a bit embossing ink using versamark embossing pen onto the fairy wings and embossed using the embossing powder. I then stamped parts of the sentiment to a white stripe and for the word “fairy”, I embossed the word using white embossing powder from my stash onto a purple cardstock.
Check out the beautiful shimmer here. It’s so much pretty in real. I couldn’t capture it fully in the photo.
Adhere a pattern paper stripe and assemble everything together.
For my last card (I did post it on my Instagram 2 days back) I decided to create a shaker card as there are some adorable sequin mix included in the kit. I used the Stitched Circle dies to create this frame to create the shaker element.
I then stamped and colored the image, die-cut it. I then applied a bit embossing ink using versamark embossing pen onto the fairy wings and embossed using the embossing powder. The white and purple striped paper is the back side of the purple pattern paper. I added this stripe for some more play and fun look.
Here is a close-up to see the fun colorful sequin mix.
Assemble everything together.
Hope you got some ideas and notice how versatile the kit is. It’s one of my favorite kits 🙂
We would love to see your creations using Heffy Doodle products so do tag us whenever you share them. Have a wonderful day!
