Sweet Treats Halloween Project

Hi everyone! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another project with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. I have fun Halloween project to share with you today.

For the card, I started by stamping all the images from the Costume Critters stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. Next, I took a white card stock and ink blended Distress Oxide Black Soot, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves and Shaded Lilac. I then splattered it using white watercolor paint. I placed the Head in The Clouds stencil and applied Lawn Fawn Yeti Pigment Ink Pad.

For the sentiment, I die cut a piece of yellow cardstock using the Trick or Treat Jumbo Sentiment Die. I then die cut a piece of black cardstock using the same die and adhered it behind the yellow one for the shadow effect. Finally, I adhered all the images and the sentiment using Glubert craft glue. I then adhered my front panel to a black cardstock.

Whether you celebrate Halloween or not, I think it’s always nice to share fun treats to your loved ones. So for today’s project I’m also sharing a fun way to do that!

First, I die cut different color cardstock using the i-crafter Halloween Treat Lantern die and assembled the box. Next, I stamped all the images from the Costume Critters, Ghoulfriends, Let’s Hang Out and Home Sweet Home stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. I hand-drawn the spiders and spider webs on the houses to add spooky vibes. For the sentiment, I die cut a piece of yellow card stock using the Happy Halloween Shadow Die. Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment to the box. Don’t forget to put the sweet treats inside! Voila! Sweet Treat boxes are done!

Thank you so much for stopping by Heffy Doodle blog! I hope you enjoyed and feel inspired by the project I’ve shared with you today. Have a wonderful day! XOXO, Lidya
