Sweet Easter Wishes

Hi Heffydoodlers!

If you like to be well prepared for yearly events, now’s the time to start making your Easter cards! Hopefully you’ll find inspiration with this sweet card using the Honey bunny Boo stamp and die set along with the stand-alone Easter die.

To make this card I sponged some white card with some new distress Oxide inks – Squeezed Lemonade, Evergreen Bough as well as Picked Raspberry. I die cut a large and small heart with My Favorite things Die-Namics Stitched Hearts die and the HDS Easter Die. I splattered some water drops on the larger heart.

I then stamped out the bunnies, eggs and butterfly as well as the stamping the sentiments. I coloured the bunnies and eggs with copics and die-cut with the corresponding dies. I attached the pieces to a white card piece with a white doily underneath as shown.  A piece of Lawn Fawn 6×6 Paper from the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper pad was used as a backing before adhering on the front of a white card base.

I added detail to the butterfly and bunnies with a white gel pen and finished by adding a few sequins. Sweet!!
