Sweet and Fun Scalloped Slimline Card
Hello friends! Lidya here today sharing a sweet and fun interactive scalloped slimline card featuring some awesome products from the new release. If you ask me which one is my favorite die from the new release, I would answer: “How can I choose?! They are all AMAZING!”😄 But if I really MUST choose one, I would say my favorite is the sweet scalloped slimline dies. I’m a sucker for all things scalloped and the word die “mmwaah” really stole my heart.
I started by stamping all the images from Quill You Be Mine stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic Markers and fussy cut them out (coordinating dies available here). I added some highlights using white gel pen.
Next, I cut a white card stock using the second largest scalloped die from the Sweet Scalloped Slimline Dies and ink blended Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. I then used the Head in The Clouds stencil and applied white pigment ink.
I cut a white card stock using the grass die from the Slimline Scenery Dies (If you love to make slimline cards or scene cards, this is a multi-purpose must-have item in your crafty stash! This set includes a cloud border, two curved landscape dies, a grass die, a straight die and a wave die.) I ink blended Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. Next, I used another product from the new release, the Straight Slider Dies. I used the second longest straight slider dies, put it in place, hold it using the Heffy Memo Tape and ran it through my die cut machine. I added a penny behind the slot, added a small foam dot to the penny and adhered the hedgehog on top. I then adhered the grass border to my background panel using foam tape. I also adhered the rest of the images using Gluebert craft glue. This is going to be my front panel. Visit my Instagram @leeds_craftroom to see the hedgehog slide back and forth!
Next, I cut a white card stock using the word die mmwaah and inked Distress Oxide Spun Sugar. I also splattered chunky glitter to make it sparkly. I stamped the sentiment “hugs & kisses” from the Quill You Be Mine stamp set using Memento Rose Bud Ink Pad on a white card stock and cut it using the rectangular speech bubble die the Sweet Scalloped Slimline Dies.
We are almost done, I cut a pink card stock using the largest rectangle scalloped die and used it as my back panel. Finally, I adhered my front panel to a white card stock and then adhered it to my back panel using double sided tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you had fun and feel inspired by the card I’ve shared with you today! Make sure to visit Heffy Doodle store here to check all the amazing products from the new release! Have a wonderful day! XOXO, Lidya!
