Snappy Birthday – VIDEO
Happy Sunday my crafty friends!
Today we are sharing a card making video tutorial using this fun croc card from the Happy Snappy Crocs collection. I love how happy this lil guy looks – and I think he is one of the most popular images in the whole range.
There is a video that walks through how the whole card was made, but lets give you guys the run down anyway. I started by stamping some of the smaller images onto some teal cardstock (from Lawn Fawn) using a dark teal ink pad from Simon Says Stamp. Next I used a large stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn to cut out an A2 panel.
I used a square die to cut a square shape out of some white cardstock and then used my trimmer to cut it into a polaroid picture frame shape. I repeated this process with grey cardstock so I could create a shadow effect.
The croc I stamped and coloured with some light coloured copic markers and I used the coordinating dies to cut him out, and then layered some vellum behind my frame. For some extra fun I cut the vellum with some cloud dies and layered them up. I added a white heat embossed greeting and also heat embossed the camera flash image onto the background – i love how it pops!
To finish the card, I added some paperclips and a strip of washi tape and then stuck mister croc onto the card using some foam tape. I also added a camera in his hand, and a few hearts to finish off the design!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Until next time, HAPPY CRAFTING!
