Shine Bright and Rock Valentine’s Day

Hello Heffy Doodlers, Happy New Year! It’s Jessica here and today I’m sharing mini Valentine’s Day cards featuring Beary Big Heart and Geology Rocks – they’re perfect for the school yard! I was instantly inspired to create a class set for my son and I knew they had to be clean and simple. To get started, I pulled out water color paper, Versafine Onyx Black Ink and my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.

First up, I die cut three scalloped rectangles with water color paper and stamped each image. Once I was happy with the scenes, it’s time for some coloring!  For these specific markers, I like to lay down color on an acetate sheet and use a water brush to pull the color onto my project.

To finish off these sets, I stamped coordinating sentiments and added slightly larger rectangles using pattern paper for the base. These are the perfect size to leave a little note on the back and of course I had to add a little bling with clear droplets and my Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle pen.
