Shake Your Tail!
Today I’m sharing an interactive card using the upcoming release!
Hi, Heffy Doodle friends! It’s Cassie here, and I’m sharing a fun card today using a couple of the new release products that I just couldn’t wait to make into a card! If you haven’t seen it yet, the new release has been revealed on the blog this last weekend, and everything is so cute! I’m using the new Oh, Crumbs stamp set along with a brand new word die to make a cute interactive card that I think anyone would love.
I started by using the Barber Shop stencil to ink blend some stripes onto an A2 size panel of 110 lb cardstock. I used the colors Ripe Persimmon and Worn Lipstick. I also splattered some water and white paint (allowing for dry time in between) before removing the stencil. I love stripes, and these stencils make them so easy! Next I stamped out the cute little corgi butt from the Oh, Crumbs set and colored him in with my Copics. I also needed a party hat for him, so I grabbed the hat from the new Cuteness Overload stamp set as well. Once they were both colored, I fussy cut them out and added some white gel pen details.
Next came some die cutting! I die cut a circle and 4 of the new Wishes die out. I adhered the corgi to the circle with an action wobbler so that the recipient can watch his tail wag, and glued all of the wishes die cuts together. On the top layer of the wishes dies I used my Copics to color the letters to match the hat. I grabbed the “shake your tailfeather sentiment from the Wingman stamps set, and curved it along the bottom of the circle. To get it to just say “shake your tail” I masked the end and stamped it with black ink. I thought this went so well with the puppies bum!
Finally, I stamped the word ‘birthday’ from the Cuteness Overload stamp set and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I used the Strips of Ease die to trim it down. The card was assembled, and that’s it for my project today! Have you had a chance to see all the cuteness that is coming out in the next release!? I’d love to hear your favorites below! Thank you so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you again soon with another card!
