Sending Unicorns and Rainbows
Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back to share with you a cute card that I created with the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns and the Rainbow Builder Stencil and Coordinating Die.
I started from the background, for which I die cut some watercolor cardstock with the Imperial Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the Cloudy Skies stencil and Distress Ink in Spun Sugar to create a soft cloudy sky effect.
Using the Rainbow Builder Stencil, I created a rainbow with Distress Inks. The colors I chose are Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Dried Marigold. I die cut my rainbow with the Rainbow Builder Coordinating Dies and created some clouds using the Swirly Cloud Dies.
For my images I used Illustrator alcohol markers by Spectrum Noir. I used BT3 and BT1 on the unicorns’ bodies and MG3, MG1, PP1 on the mane. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and added some details with a white gel pen and Crystal Stickles.
For my greeting, I combined one of the sentiments in the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns with the rainbow word die included in the Rainbow Builder Coordinating Die.
I raised the rainbow and the clouds on some foam tape for added dimension and that finished off my card.
