Sending Love
Hello peeps! Silvia’s here today with her second project as guest designer for the Heffy Doodle blog.
This time I decided to have fun with the adorable little angels from “My Little Angel” stamp set and some other stuff from the incredible latest release (maybe one of the best release ever).
I started by die cutting two white rectangles using the biggest die and the one just a little smaller (than the biggest one) from the “Imperial Stitched Rectangles” die set.
I ink blended the first one with cracked pistachio Distress Oxide ink and then I used the “Crazy Kaleidoscope” stencil and peacock feathers Distress Oxide to add texture to it. I also splattered with clean water, inks and gold Nuvo mousse (loosened with water).
I used the new “Fancy Nancy Frame” and “Lovely Little Borders” die sets to die cut the second panels.
I then used the tiny little music notes to create my background, along with vintage photo Distress Oxide inks.
I stamped my images with Memento black ink, I colored them using alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out (if you prefer you can use the coordinating dies).
I then used some liquid glue to add my angels to the smallest panel and I put some foam tape on the back before attached it to the green panel.
For the sentiment I stamped one from the “Down the line” stamp set and I die cut it with one of the “Stitched Strips of Ease” dies.
I had so much fun creating this card and I’m really happy of how it turned out.
Here are some close-ups.
I hope you enjoyed this card and that it gave you some inspiration.
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending your time with me today.
Big hugs, Silvia.
