Roarsome Birthday Card Layout

Hello friends! It’s Amanda Fitterer and I’m super excited to be here with you this lovely Monday! Today, I am sharing a really cool card layout that’s super easy, but also super polished!

So let’s get started!

To make this card, you’ll want to grab your:
Two by Two Safari Animals Stamp Set
* Two by Two Safari Animals Coordinating Dies
* Wild at Heart Sentiment Stamp Set
* Stitched Circle Dies
* Skinny Circle Frames Dies
* Imperial Stitched Rectangle Dies
* UnbeLEAFable Stencil
* Stoney Maloney Stencil
Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine
Glubert Glue
* Medium/Large Die Cutting Machine (I use the gorgeous Petal Pink Gemini Jr. and I LOVE IT!)
* 3D foam squares
* 3D foam tape
* pre-scored card base
* Catherine Pooler Inks (or any inks, distress inks, or oxides)

First, I’m die cutting my Skinny Circle Frames Dies and Stitched Circle Dies. I’ve also die cut my Imperial Stitched Rectangle Dies and ink blended it with the Stoney Maloney Stencil and Catherine Pooler Buttercream and Spiced inks.

On my stitched circle, I’m ink blending Matcha on the entire circle and then blending Sage through the UnbeLEAFable Stencil.

Next, I’ve stamped my images from the Two by Two Safari Animals Stamp Set and colored them with Copic markers. I’ll die cut them using my Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine and Two by Two Safari Animals Coordinating Dies.

For my Wild at Heart Sentiment, I’ve stamped it with Wow! Embossing Glue and then applied white embossing powder to it. Now, I’m melting the powder with a heat tool and trimming it down.

I’ve also trimmed a piece of very light green vellum to place behind my front panel. It’s hard to see in the images, but it creates a little more dimension and color!

The last step is to put it all together! I’ve layered my vellum down first, then my front panel using 3D foam tape. I’ve glued my skinny circle down, but propped my stitched circle up with 3D foam tape. I’ve also propped up my stamped images and sentiment with 3D foam squares.

That’s it! What a fun and easy layered card that looks so put together and professional!

Thanks for stopping by the Heffy Doodle blog today! I hope you have a great day and have time to get crafty!! Xx, Amanda
