Perfect Combos – Unfrogettable birthday

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofia here, I am back today with another edition of my Perfect Combos series. This time I was playing with the latest release for a clean and simple scene.

First I stamped and coloured the cute frogs and scene building elements from the Be Hoppy stamp set. I used alcohol markers for colouring and cut all the pieces out with their coordinating dies.

Then I die cut a pond with the Build a pond die set from light blue cardstock and added a bit of shading to it with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink and a small blending brush. I added some diluted ink and white acrylic paint platters too. I also cut some flowers and leaves from coloured cardstock with the Build a pond die set, to enrich the scene.

I assembled the scene on the middle of an A2 sized white notecard and popped up the frogs with 3D foam squares.

Then I stamped two sentiments from the Be Hoppy set: on on the top and one on the bottom. It gives the whole scene a little frame.

As a finishing touch I used a clear shimmer pen on the flowers.
