Perfect Combos – Magical Christmas

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here, welcome to another edition of my Perfect Combos series. Christmas approaching super fast I thought I will bring you another fun idea  for a sweet holiday card. I combined Santa’s village and Wanna build a snowman and Holiday Sentiment Duos stamp/die sets with some Heffy cuts.   Let me show you how I created this card!

As always I stamped and coloured the images first using Copic markers and Heffy Doodle’s Alcohol marker friendly cardstock. I love this cardstock for its smooth surface, it is so easy to get a perfect blend with my alcohol markers. I cut all images ut with their coordinating dies.

Then I die cut a Stitched Oval horizontally from a white card front. This die is so unique as it leaves the stitching details both on the inside and outside of the cut line. I backed it with a patterned paper from Doodlebug designs (Here comes Santa Claus). I stamped a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment Duos in green and popped up the images with Heffy Doodle Foam tape. It is super thick and gives a lot of dimension instantly.

To balance the design in the upper part of the card I die cut the word Magical from red and from red glitter cardstocks, layered them on top of each other and adhered it to the patterned paper.

There is no Christmas card without shimmer and shine so I used a Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer pen on the presents and Santa’s clothes and added glossy accents to the tree decoration, ribbons, candy cane, belt and boots. It makes everything so festive!
