November Color Snapshot with Davina
Hello crafty friends. Davina here on the blog with a warm and cozy color snapshot just in time for November. I found this photo on Pinterest and it pretty much summed up exactly how I plan on spending my next few weeks. Only, add a ton of copic markers and glue. All joking aside, I felt as though it gave off warm and peaceful vibes, so I thought I’d share my vision of a crisp November day.
The colors I chose were Cream, Rustic Orange, Cranberry, and Brown. They are very fall neutral and go well any theme and many accent colors. I used a nice metallic gold to add a little razzle dazzle. The card that I’m sharing features an older set called Big Beary Heart , and it has so many cute valentine accessories. I created a cozy den for my bears using some patterned paper and colored cardstock, and right outside the cave mouth I used some of the foliage and mushrooms from Big Bug Hugs . I gave the bears some cute little coffee mugs and some s’mores from an older Heffy Doodle Stamptember set, and I finished off the scene with a gold embossed sentiment strip using one of the sentiments from the Bear stamp set.
Im loving how simple this card came together, and how I utilized lots of patterned paper, to to give a big wow factor. I often struggle to make “flatter” cards that are easy to mail, and this one will be perfect to send to a friend. thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope to see you use this color inspiration in some of your November projects,
