Modified Interactive Big Shadow Box – Mix and Match with Amanda
Hey Heffy Doodlers! It’s Amanda Fitterer here back with a bright and colorful card!
I modified the Big Shadow Box Die to create and interactive box card!
I started with the Big Shadow Box Die and then cut off a few inches of the front and sides of the box. Next, I blended Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides and then spritzed it with water. On my back wall, I cut out a small Wavy Water Slide. Once I had all that done, I assembled the Shadow Box with liquid glue.
Next, I stamped my images from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns, Sweet Stuff, Pasta La Vista, and Quill You Be Mine stamp sets. I colored the images with Copic markers and then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I attached my cake pops’ arms and bow tie on with liquid glue and cut out the inside of the flower balloon with a hole punch.
I used a button and 3D foam squares (cut down to fit in the Wavy Water Slider) to create my flying unicorn.
I used the Swirly Cloud Dies to create a bunch of clouds for the inside, back and sides of the card.
Now, I’m ready to attach everything! I used liquid glue and 3D foam squares to adhere everything to the card. Tweezers really helped holding things while they dried since it’s kind of a tight space.
Here are some more photos of the finished project!
I really enjoyed modifying the Shadow Box Die to create this folding card! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
Until next time…. Xoxo, Amanda!
