Mix & Match – Hip Hip Hooray Unicorn Slimline Card

Hey there, Heffy Doodlers!  Boy, do I have a fun and bright card to share with you today!  I just love mixing and matching all the new stamp sets with the old ones!  This card is a combo of Fluffy Puffy Unicorns, Highland Honeys, Popping By, and Wavy Banner Sentiments!  That’s a whole lot of happy in one card!

To create this card, I’m going to create my background first.  First, using my Slimline Pull-tab Dies, I created a scalloped slimline card front.  Using a rainbow of ink pads, I’m blending clouds with a cloud stencil and blending brush.

Next, I have stamped my images with a Copic-friendly ink pad.  This ink pad will not bleed when using alcohol markers.  Once those images are stamped, I’m ready to start coloring with Copic markers.  I am using the same base of colors that I used for my background.

For my sentiments, I am cutting both “HIP HIP HOORAY” and “LET’S CELEBRATE” to see which one I like on the card, once I’ve placed my colored images.

The last step is to assemble the card!  I have used liquid glue to attach my background to a slimline card base.  For my stamped images and sentiments, I am using 3D foam squares.

And, that’s it!  Such a fun and bright card!
