Miles Apart, But Close at Heart
Hello, hello my crafty friend. It’s Amanda from Pear Blossom Press, back with another fun card. This one is a sweet greeting for a friend who has moved, or to let a loved one know you are missing them.
For this card, I used the new Home Sweet Home stamp set, along with the coordinating dies. To build my scene, I needed to extend the road stamp, so I partially stamped it, moved it over, and partially stamped again. The beauty of clear stamps is that you can see through them to line them up. To cut the road out, I partially die cut it, shifted the die, then cut the rest. Easy peasy. Notice the wavy sentiment at the bottom? I used the same road die to cut out the shape, and gave the ends flagtails with the V shaped dies in the More Strips of Ease set. After curving the sentiment from Close at Heart Sentiment Stamps, I embossed it.
