A “Just Because” Card (and a confession from a Netflix crafter!)

Hello Heffy Doodlers! And welcome back to the Heffy Doodle blog, where you can find tons of inspiration to put your collection of Heffy Doodle goodies to good use!  Today I’m bringing you what I call I “just because” card which could be used for a number of occasions: from a simple summer hello to our crafty friends across the miles, to an encouragement card for a friend recovering from one of life’s rougher rides.

To put together this little project I used the Yappy Happy Mail stamp set (there are coordinating dies for it too!), and two of my favourite Heffy Cuts word dies: “sending” and “love“. Once I had die cut my words, I applied some Glossy Accents (which you can no pick up at our store, too!) to give it that puffy sticker look. The little butterfly stamps I used as finishing touches are from our “Hunny Bunny Boo” stamp set. 

(“Suits” spoiler alert!) And now for confession time! If I was to do this card again, I would most likely use my cloud stencil, a blue distress ink and my ink blender to add a cloudy background to my card (just like Cassie did on this project). However, the day I made this card I had “Suits” playing on the background. Unfortunately for my card, Rachel had just kissed Logan and I was so enthralled with the plot that I started merrily adhering away my images and forgot about my clouds! Still, I love my card and I think the white background helps the sentiment pop. Has this ever happened to any of you?! Confession time ladies!!! Let us know in the comments section below.
