Ink Blended Window Card

Hey Heffy Doodlers!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I’ve got a super simple card for you today that has a lot of visual interest!

I took a square stitched die from Lawn Fawn and cut out various “windows” out of a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card panel, and then set that window panel aside. I used various colors of Distress Oxide inks and my ink blending brush to blend an ombre look on to the square pieces.

I laid my window panel on to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base just so I could figure out where my square colored pieces needed to go, right into the windows. I adhered them into place (like puzzle pieces) and then used some foam tape to pop up the cut out window panel from the rest of the card. This gave it some fun dimension and a different kind of layout!

I stamped some images from the Unbearable Without You stamp set on to scrap cardstock, colored them with my copic markers, and then used the matching die set to cut them out. I mounted the images with small pieces of foam tape and then placed them into the various windows.

I stamped some of the word bubbles from the Whatcha’ Sayin’ stamp set and then also used the matching dies to cut them out. To finish off the card, I used the same process of mounting them with small pieces of foam tape and placing them around the windows.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Crafting!

Kelly
