I think you’re so Best Fishes

Hello! This is Olga Moss and today is my turn to show you a new card. Do you like winter fishing? For me it’s just a fantastic action. So I decided to make a card for the fisherman with the magic, rustling shaker. For this idea I used our Warm Hugs Stamp Set.

I started with stamping fishes, sled, bucket, stakes, fishing rod and fisherman. I colored images with Copic markers and die cut using Warm Hugs coordinating dies. And then I die cut the shaker with Dotted Ovals creative dies from Studio Katia. I sponged shaker oval with Broken China Distress Ink and made a shaker.

I filled it with fishes (which I glued to the base) and the small Studio Katia Onyx Dust Seed Beads. I also added a googly eyes to the fish – another fun detail!

In the center of the shaker I glued a strip of simulating the snow cover. And added images. The card turned out in the spirit of true fishermen – shaker here is the well, which traditionally is done for fishing.

Lastly, I stamped “I think you’re so Best Fishes” sentiment. And I embellished the card with some clear round drops.
