I Really Hope to Sea You Soon

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Today I’m sharing a fun ocean theme card featuring these cute critters from the Oceans of Love, A Little Shellfish and Shellabrate stamp sets. Now, let’s get started!

First, I cut a white card stock using the largest rectangle die from Imperial Stitched Rectangle Dies and ink blended Distress Oxide Black Soot, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio. I then placed the Simple Sunburst Stencil and applied Lawn Fawn Yeti Pigment Ink. I splattered it with water, white watercolor paint and blue watercolor paint.

Next, I stamped all the images using the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out (coordinating dies available here).

I stamped the sentiment from the Oceans of Love using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and heat-embossed it using clear embossing powder. Finally, I adhered all the images using liquid glue and popped some images up using the deep foam tape. For the finishing touch, I used clear bubble embellishment to add dimensional details.

Thank you so much for stopping by Heffy Doodle blog! I hope you enjoyed the card I’ve shared with you today! Have a wonderful day! XOXO, Lidya
