I Can Bearly Craft Without You

Hi Heffydoodlers! Ali here, with a cute crafty bear card – I know a lot of you are missing those crafty catch ups with friends and this card was created to send to your crafty bestie. It also was a trip down memory lane for me as this set was one of the very first Heffy Doodle sets I purchased! I still totally adore my original sets – a testament to the brand and Lesley’s wonderful designs – they hold a special place in my heart! I’ve used Unbearable Without You in this card – just the cutest little bears and I totally love how the dies cut around their hands so that they can hold various things in their little paws!

I began the card by creating a background on Simply Teal-icious cardstock. I did this by randomly stamping some of the small stamps from Unbearable Without You in Versamark ink and embossing with clear embossing powder.  This gives a slightly darker image than the cardstock so the images stand out and coordinate, without being overly dominating. I trimmed and adhered this piece to a white card base.

I then stamped the images with Ink On 3 Balckout Ink and colored them with Copic markers (Warm greys W7, W5, W1, W00).  I used my Stitched Circle dies to cut out 3 apetures in some white cardstock and mounted that on the background piece with 3D foam. I die cut the images and adhered them in the apetures.

I stamped the sentiments in versamark ink on black cardstock and white embossed them. I die cut the Crafty word and trimmed so that it was just ‘craft’ in Such a fun card to send to a crafty buddy!
