Hootiful day…

I used ‘Hootiful‘, ‘Wanna build a snowman?’ stamp sets, Forest builder ,Stitched Circle dies and Candy Store and First Snow stencils for my card today.

I stamped and coloured the owl from Hootiful in shades of grey using Copic markers (W3, W1, W0). I stamped the scarf and cap that were part of penguins from ‘Wanna build a snowman‘ stamp set, coloured them and fussy cut them out. I adhered the images together.

I die cut a circle using the Stitched Circle dies and adhered the die cuts from Forest builder die set. Before adhering, I coloured them using copic markers. I also added some ‘snow’ in the background using the First Snow stencil. I used a Snow marker to add snow on the branches for a realistic look.

I adhered the owl and added confetti and stamped little snow flakes in the background. I stamped the sentiment.

I used the Candy Store stencil and inked a piece of teal coloured cardstock with grey ink. I love the muted look as opposed to the red on white stripes which look more striking. I’m so glad the card turned out exactly like I wanted to. 🙂
