Hello There Sealy Friends!
Happy Friday Darlings! It’s Jo Laverty here with a fun and easy creation. Today I want to share with you a card I made using the adorable ‘Sealy Friends‘ stamp set and some fun patterned paper taken from the ‘The Greatest Show‘ pad. I even got to try my first ever vertical sentiment using the ‘Down the Line‘ sentiment stamp set!
If you would like to find out how I made this fun primary coloured card, read on for the step-by-step tutorial.
Background Components
Using a dark blue cardstock from Heffy Doodles ‘Multi Pack 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock‘ pack and the largest die from the ‘Imperial Stitched Rectangles‘ set, run both through a die cut machine. Next, I took two patterned papers from the ‘The Greatest Show‘ pad. Then, taking the second largest die from the ‘Imperial Stitched Rectangles‘ set, I ran each sheet through the die cut machine. Using Heffy Doodles’ ‘Mini Paper Trimmer‘, I cut one patterned paper in half. I adhered the layers together using double sided tape.
Sentiment
Using a red cardstock from Heffy Doodles ‘Multi Pack 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock‘ pack, I heat embossed a sentiment from the ‘Down the Line‘ stamp set, using WOW! Embossing’s ‘Opaque Bright White’. I then die cut the sentiment and added some thick foam tape to the back.
Images
Using Heffy Doodles ‘Alcohol Friendly Marker Cardstock‘, I stamped and die cut a range of cute images from the ‘Sealy Friends‘ stamp set. I used Ohuhu alcohol markers to color in the images and used a white Gelly Roll pen to add in some highlights.
Embellishments
To finish off the card, I adhered the images to the background using some thin foam tape and added some sequins from the ‘Ringmaster‘ sparkle mix.
I hope you enjoy this card and the step-by-step tutorial. Don’t forget to tag Heffy Doodle in all your HD creations so that we can show them some love. Crafty Hugs, Jo x
