Hello Peekaboo Card!
hello everyone,
and whaddayaknow – I have a HELLO card to share today! FUN, huh? Let’s jump right in!
Today I have made quite a clean and simple card – using the stitched squares dies. I took inspiration from the primary colours – red, blue and yellow, and stuck to this for my card. I love how it turned out.
First I took some white card and grabbed some blue ink. I actually pressed the ink onto some plastic packaging and spritz it with water so I had a little inky pool – then I could use a paint brush to flick some droplets onto the card. I think this is such a fun technique.
After this, I used my square dies to cut down yellow cardstock, and also the white splattered card. Both the same size. I wanted it to pop more, so I cut a piece of red card to matt the yellow. After that, it was time to get some critters!
I have used the bed head stamp set and the popping by stamp set, however you could use almost any stamp set with cute lil animals. I particularly like the way their little paws over lap the edges. Did you notice that I used the bear stamp set twice – but coloured on like a panda. SWEET!
For the sentiment, I paired up the Hello Shadow Cuts with the Ovally Excited Dies. These ovals are so good – I love them so much – AND they are on offer. so go and grab them before they all go!
Thanks for stopping by, until next time, happy crafting
