Have An Otterly Wonderful Birthday

Hello crafty friends! How are you all doing? I hope you are enjoying this summer season and have some fun quality time with your family. Today, I’m sharing a fun slimline birthday card featuring these adorable otters from the Otter Side stamp set. Now, let’s get started!

First, I started by stamping all the images from the Otter Side, A little Shefish, Lil Lighthouse and You Go, Gull stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out. (Coordinating dies available here)

Next, I took a white card stock and cut it using the second largest rectangle die from the Stitched Slimline Trio Dies. I ink blended Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo and Squeezed Lemonade for the sky scene. I splattered gold shimmer watercolor paint and white acrylic paint.  For the the land, I ink blended Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Antique Linen.

Next, I took a white card stock and cut it using the Breaking Waves Border Dies. I ink blended Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio. I splattered it using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and white acrylic paint.

I assembled all the images and panels together using Glubert craft glue and double sided tape. For the back panel, I cut a white card stock using the scalloped rectangle die from the Slimline Pull Tab Die and finish off the card by adhering my front panel to the back panel using double sided tape.
