Happy New Maritime Home!

Hello Heffy Doodlers! It’s Jessica M. here sharing a very special card featuring Oceans of Love and Everyday Sentiment Duos. One of my very dear friends has moved across the country and I had to create the perfect card for them! Little did I know at the time, that I would also be celebrating a new home! We aren’t moving across the country but across the city, hooray!

I started by creating the card front and die cut the Stitched Bubble Background  using watercolor paper. To add some color, I blended Mermaid Lagoon Oxide Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink then activated with water.

I stamped the main images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I borrowed a castle stamp and Polaroid die from my stash to set the scene.

To finish off the card, I added a sentiment strip using Strips of Ease and heat set white embossing powder. For a little shine, I added coordinating sequins, glossy accents and clear overlay with my sparkle marker.
