Happy Birthday Princess Pi!!!
Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by today!!!
It´s Maria here which means that it´s Monday once again. Last week was the 7th birthday of Princess Pi, which is the daughter of the Heffy Doodle owner Lesley Oman. As I wanted to send her a special card I asked her for her favorite color and Heffy Doodle stamp set so it would match her wishes.
The answers I got were purple and Hello Squeakheart. So on I went to stamp, color and assemble. This is what I came up with in the end.
As I know that Pi loves to bake I took a baking set from Lawn Fawn and stamped, colored and diecut all of the baking supplies and all of the cute mice from the Hello Squeakheart . After I had that done I had to come up with a layout on how to assemble all those diecuts. My Idea behind the card was that it should look like as if the mice were baking for Pi.
On a white cardbase I had layered a diecut panel from designer series paper and topped it with a purple strip with a silver little scallop border. Onto the purple counter I arranged the kitchen machine, the flour bag, butter, rolling pin and the bowl with it´s spatula.
I then added the mice and used the internal cutlines that you get to put some of the utensils and ingredients into their paws. Those internal cutlines are a genius extra of the coordinating dies as you can tuck all kind of things into their tiny paws.
I think they look so cute baking and making and playing in the kitchen. My favorite is the stiring little mouse on the bowl and the one holding the shaker with purple sprikles. Which one is your favorite?
In the lower third of the card I stamped the sentiment ” have a sweet birthday” from the Lawn fawn set in purple and put the piping bag next to it so that it looks like as if the sentiment was piped with icing.
To finish the cardfront I added some purple sequins as every little girl deserves a little bling, what do you say?
On the inside the mice were already finished baking and decorating and wished Princess Pi a very happy birthday!!!
Onto a pinkish purple they put 3 cupcakes together with a birthday candle. And they also hung a banner with Piper´s name. How sweet of them , don´t you think?
I heatembossed the HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the Happy Snappy crocs stampset in white on black cardstock and snipped the end to look like banners. On top of the banner you can see two of the proud little mice waiting for Piper to open her card.
So there you have it a sqeakheart birthday card for Princess Pi!!!
Do you customize your cards too for the recipient?
Have a wonderful and creative week and HAPPY CRAFTING!!!
