Happy Birthday DripCake

Hi Heffy Doodle fans! My name is Marieke and welcome to my first Heffy Doodle Blog. I fell in love with the little mouse who looks very curious from the Popping By stamp set.

To make this card, I started with the ink blending of the background. I used Distress Oxides for this background. I used 3 colours: Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles. I used the Chevron Fun Stencil. To finish the background, I used a glitter spray.

Next, I stamped my images from the Popping By stamp set. I colored my images with my alcohol markers and make the DripCake a real DripCake with a pink glaze. Then, I diecut the images using the coordinating die set.

For the background, I used the colors Razzleberry, Bubblegum Blush, and Holy Mackerel from the Multi Pack Cardstock Mix 1 and Mix 2. For the shape, I used the Stitched Rounded Imperial Rectangle Dies. I also used this die to finish the edges for the floor, baseboard and the banner.

I used the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the same stamp set for this card and embossed it with black on white cardstock.

It now looks like the mouse is peeking out of the wall to get to the cake! I hope you enjoyed reading my first blog, there will be another one soon. Have a nice day!
