Good Luck

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! It’s Cassie here, and I’m back with another card to share with you! Today’s card is utelizing the Lucky Friends stamps and the Clover Frames dies. I wanted to give the watermarble alcohol ink technique a try this week, and I’m liking how it turned out! Let’s take a look.

I started out by taking a piece of alcohol ink paper and my green alcohol inks, and gave the watermarble technique a try. It’s hard to explain the technique, but here’s a link to a great tutorial of how to do this from Jennifer McGuire. After my paper was dry I die cut the scalloped corner die from the middle it.

Next I stamped the little leprachaun from Lucky Friends and colored him in with my Copics. I fussy cut him out, and stampd a little word bubble for him. Instead of stamping the sentiment in black ink I added a pop of gold and heat embossed the words ‘good luck’ from Whatcha Sayin. I love those little word bubbles! They are perfect for when you don’t know exactly how to add in your sentiment.

I used from Nuvo Mouse in the color Lemon Sorbet on some white cardstock, and die cut a bunch of tiny hearts from it. I adhered them in the white space that the die cut left in the alcohol ink panel, and popped up my little leprachaun and word bubble with foam tape over top of it.

And that’s it for my card today! I hope you enjoyed it! The fun thing about it is that you could use it for St. Patricks day, or keep it on hand for when you need to send some luck to a friend. With Valentines Day tomorrow, I’m already looking ahead to the next holiday! How about you?? Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a great day 🙂 I’ll see you again soon with another card.
