Get Better Soon!
Hi There!
It’s another Thursday and you know what that means!
I’m baaaaaaaack!
Today I’ve got another 4-bar card for you that is a super simple design.
I stamped some images from the Beary Big Heart stamp set in a copic safe black ink and colored the images with my copic markers. I then fussy cut them out and set them aside. I also stamped out and cut one of the sentiments from the Whatcha Sayin’? stamp set and used the matching die set. I chose the Get Better Soon sentiment since I am always needing a cute Get Well card in my stash!
For this card I attempted a brand new-to-me technique–Embossing with dies!
I cut a 4-bar card panel of white cardstock and then used the Stitched Strips of Ease dies and my embossing mat to emboss that diagonal pattern on the panel. I also used an ink blending brush to blend some light pink ink around the edges of the panel.
I also dug through my patterned paper stash and picked out a piece of coordinating paper, cut it at a diagonal, and then glued it on to the panel.
I mounted my bear, flower, and sentiment elements on foam tape and popped them up on my card panel.
I finished off the card by trimming down the panel a bit before gluing it on to a white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Kelly
