Fuzzy Cuddles Bear
Hi Heffydoodlers! Ali here and I’m so excited about the new release from Heffy Doodle Stamps and super excited about the upcoming Blog Hop on the 4th November – don’t miss it!! There are some amazing cards and brilliant ideas from the Heffy Doodle Team and I thought I’d give you a little taste of what’s to come in this fantastic release! The Beary Big Heart set is just so adorable and I have used it for this sweet card today!
I began by creating the background panel with a piece of watercolour paper and distress inks (Tumbled glass and Salty Ocean, SSS) on acetate, spritzed with water and smooshed onto the watercolour paper. Once dry, I die cut using a stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things (MFT/SSS). I stamped the bear and umbrella from the Beary Big Heart Set (HDS/SSS) on copic friendly paper and then coloured with copics (bear: E31, E33, E55) and added details with a white Signo Gel pen (SSS). I added some panels to the umbrella with a Copic Multiliner (SSS) and coloured the umbrella in rainbow copic colours. I die-cut both with the corresponding dies (HDS/SSS), popped up with 3-d foam and attached to the rectangle panel.
I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on a slip of black card, embossed with white embossing powder (SSS) and attached to the rectangle panel (folding the ends around to adhere to the back of the panel). I die cut some clouds using the Avery Elle pierced clouds die (SSS) from white card and placed them on a white card base. I placed my panel on the card front, added some clear droplets from pretty pink posh (SSS), used my Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen (SSS) to add a little bit of sparkle to the umbrella and this sweet card was done!
I hope you love the new release as much as I do and don’t forget to follow the blog hop this weekend! Happy Heffydoodling!
