Fairy Shadow Box Card with Isha Gupta

Hello Heffy Doodlers! It’s Isha here and today, I am sharing a fun and cute shadow box card using our Big Shadow Box die. I really love the size of this die and can’t stop playing. I needed to make a girly card so I mixed and matched lots of stamps and dies to create my scene. All the supplies are listed at the end of the post 🙂

I started by stamping the images from the Big Bug Hugs, Happily Ever Crafter, Fluffy Puffy Unicorns, Absotoothly  Awesome stamp sets onto alcohol friendly cardstock. I colored the images using copic markers and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I then added some stickles to the fairy wings and the mushrooms.

I added distress ink to the leaves from Blooming Marvellous stamp, spritz once with water and stamped onto the cardstock, die-cut.

For the next step, I die cut the grass using Grassy Lass Border dies and sponged some distress inks to them. Now, I die-cut the box using the Big Shadow Box die. I die-cut the white frame and adhered it to the opening in the front. I die-cut the white panel to adhere at the back of the box. I created the cloud background by sponging distress ink through the Cloudy Skies stencil.

Now, since we have all the pieces, we will put the box together. It’s very easy to adhere the elements. I backed the front cloud with a bit of acetate to keep it more sturdy.

There are lots of wonderful tutorials on how to put together the box. One by Lesley is on YouTube HERE.

Hope you will also enjoy creating the box card as much as I enjoyed it. Have a nice day.

Isha
