EGGstra special card!

Hi everyone, it’s Sara here! I Two weeks ago I shared with you my first card and today I have a second one! Easter is around the corner, I can feel Spring in the air.

As I said in the other post, I love critters and I love creating scenes. When I saw the “Honey Bunny Boo” stamp set I instantly wanted to play with those bunnies and all the smaller eggs. I wanted one of the bunny to be at the top of a giant egg, that I drew with a copic fineliner.

I choose a pastel palette, including yellow, pink, aqua, violet and light green. I then masked all my images with a masking paper and I blended the background with Distress Oxide inks in “Shaded Liliac” and “Tumbled Glass”. I used blending brushes for a lighter touch.

At the end, I framed my scene with a reverse scallop die and I stamped the sentiment. The finished card is 4.25” x 5.5” and I really love how it turned out.
