Easy Trick For Using Slimline Dies On A2 Cards
Hi crafty friends, today I have a cute Valentine’s card for you with stenciling and Copic coloring. I also share an easy trick for using slimline dies on A2 cards, this makes it easy to stretch your supplies. Let’s get started.
I started with a white piece of cardstock and stenciled the Love is Everywhere stencil with Bubblegum, Lilac and Heather inks. I added the colors all over the background (not in any order). Then I die cut the sentiment from the Sweet Scalloped slimline Dies three times. I ink blended the top layer from left to right in Bubblegum, Lilac and Heather. Then I glued the other two layers behind it to give it dimension.
I Copic colored the super cute mouse from the Popping By stamp set with W1,4,6,7 and R20 for the ears. I added a black glaze to his eyes and nose and used the coordinating die to cut them out.
I die cut the smallest slimline die from the Sweet Scalloped Slimline dies from white cardstock and added that to the stenciled background with foam tape (easy trick), then trimmed the excess off the sides. I added the die sentiment, mouse and stamped sentiment from the Classic Sentiments. I added foam tape behind the stamped sentiment. I finished the card with Hug Me clay hearts.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed this project!
