Christmas Shaker Tags
Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another fun project with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Today I have some fun ideas for Christmas shaker tags, these are great as gifts or gift wraps. Now let’s get started!
First, I started by stamping all the images from the Pandtastic Painters, Oh Crumbs, Elfish Antics and Absotoothly Awesome stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out (coordinating dies available here).
I took some white card stocks, cut them using the Tag Along Dies and inked them using Distress Oxide. I also cut some acetate sheets using the same dies.
To assemble the pandas and puppies tags, I adhered acetate sheet to the front piece, filled it with the shaker elements and then use the deep foam tape to adhere my front piece to the back piece. I highly recommend using the deep foam tape because it allows the shaker elements to move around easily.
For the elves and fairies tags, I used two frames to make see-through shaker tags. I adhered acetate sheet to the first frame and then filled it with the shaker elements. Next, I used the deep foam tape to adhere the front panel to another acetate sheet and then I used double sided tape to adhere it to the second frame. I love these holiday tags, I think they are really fun and easy to make.
