Build a snowman with Guest Designer MONA TOTH
Hello everyone It’s Mona Tóth from Craft by Mona, and I am super excited to be a guest on the Heffy Doodle blog and YouTube channel. Today I am showing you three cards featuring the Wanna Build A Snowman Card Making Kit!
This kit is perfect for your holiday cards because I think that handmade kindness is a perfect gift! My favorite pieces of the kit are the Wanna Built a Snowman Stamp Set and the first snow stencil!
I filmed an unboxing video with a card project from start to finish. Be sure to check out, I hope you will enjoy it. 🙂
For my cards I used the same kit. As you can see I used the First Snow Stencil on all three cards.
It’s perfect for ink blending, masking and as a guide too. This is the first card what I made, you can find all details in the process video.
For my second card I stamped only the snowmen and played with the colors. For the background I used the Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and the Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks.
Splattered with water and Altenew Pure White Ink. After the heat embossing I made the hillside borders with the stencil (on the top I used the glimmer paste) and added the colored snowmen.
For the coloring I used the following Copic Markers: 0, C1, C3, R20, RV52, BV00, Y11. Finally embellished the card with the amazing sequin mix what the kit contains.
For my third card I used the Red Patterned paper with the red twine. I made the hillside borders like before, but this time I blended the background with the Mini Distress Ink from the kit for shading, then I added the glimmer paste with my finger. (You know just tap-tap with that on the card)
Stamped the sentiment with red ink and run that with coordinating die trough my Die-cut machine. In the end I colored the stamped images with Copic Markers.
I used the following markers: Tree: G28, G24, G21, R24, R27, R29, R59, N9, W7, W5, W3, W1, 0, R20, Y11, Y19, YR07. And my card was done.
Thank you for reading my post or watching the video, I hope that I have inspired you! I am thankful for this amazing opportunity to be a guest! If you like my creations follow me on Instagram. 🙂 Thank you.
Hugs, Mona
