Bright and cheerful
Hello!
Sindhu here. Hope you are all doing great..
I have a couple of happy and cheerful cards to share with you today. I made these two cards as soon as I had received the June release way back in April but didn’t get a chance share them yet as I made a ton of cards using the awesome release. 🙂
Here is my first card using the Yappy Happy Mail stamp set.
All the images were coloured with copics and fussy cut. First, I adhered a 4.25″×5.5″ piece of patterned paper on the card base. Then on another piece of 4.25″×5.5″ card stock, I cut three circular openings and adhered it on patterned paper. Then, adhered the images. It is so simple but looks interesting.
The next card was made using the ‘Wingman‘ stamp set and the ‘Clover Frames dies‘ I used the stitched rectangular die from the die set.
This also is a very simple card but is a personal favourite of mine.
Here is a close up.
To start with, I cut a circular window on a stitched rectangle die cut and adhered it on a card base. Using the same circle die, I cut out a circle from a rainbow striped patterned paper and inlaid it into circular window. I die cut a smaller circle from a piece of white cardstock and stamped tiny images from the stamp set in a light grey ink which would be the backdrop for the bird. Instead of adhering it in the centre of the patterned paper circle, I stuck it in such a way that the patterned paper shows only at the bottom. Finished the card with the sentiment.
I hope you like the cards..
See you soon. Have a great week. 🙂
Sindhu.
